By The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) extended on Tuesday the Code Yellow warning for storms to almost the entire country.
According to meteorologists, until 22:00, in Banat, Oltenia, Muntenia, Dobrogea, most of Transylvania and Moldavia and the mountainous areas, the weather will be unstable.
There will be wind intensifications and locally storms (gusts of 50 to 60 km/h and in isolated areas of 70 to 90 km/h), hail and heavy showers accompanied by lightning. In short intervals of time (1 to 3 hours) or cumulatively, rainfall amounts will be 15 to 20 l/sqm and locally 30 to 40 l/sqm.
Moreover, meteorologists have also issued an information notice regarding a cooling of the weather starting Tuesday morning and lasting until Thursday morning. Temperatures will drop sharply in the west and north-west of the country, then also in the rest of the territory, so that the weather will become colder than usual for this period.
