The „Toma Caragiu” International Theatre Festival in Ploiesti opens on Monday at 19:00 with Moliere’s „Tartuffe” directed by Vlad Massaci and produced by the Theatre of Youth in Piatra Neamt.
The cast of the production includes actors Emanuel Becheru, Tudor Tabacaru, Elena Popa, Valentin Florea, Macrina Barladeanu, Paul-Ovidiu Cosovanu, Florin Hritcu, Victor Giurescu, Gina Gulai, Cristina Ciulei and Dan Grigoras.
According to the „Toma Caragiu” Theatre website, the theme of the 15th edition of the festival is „(Re)union.”
The programme for the edition, which will run from Monday until 10 October, includes, alongside performances by theatres from Romania, productions by artists and cultural institutions from Türkiye, Italy and the Republic of Moldova.
