By Deputy Chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Siegfried Muresan says that the Social Democratic Party (PSD) wants to return to government solely to „recapture” total power in the state – the government, resources and administrative levers.
According to him, PSD is no longer a 50% party and will never be again.
„PSD is not seeking to solve the country’s urgent problems. PSD wants to return to government only to recapture total power in the state – the government, resources and administrative levers. Just as in the Nastase or the Dragnea period. That’s exactly why Sorin Grindeanu demanded total autonomy at the rule. PSD sees it is plummeting in the polls and hopes that, by seizing all power in the state, it will be able to continue financing its political clientele, waste people’s money on populist measures and thus save itself as a party,” Muresan wrote on Facebook.
He reiterated that PNL will not give PSD „a blank cheque”.
